History

In 2010, Majd Izadian founded Xendat Data & Analytics as a consulting company focused on helping Fortune 500 companies with Data Management strategy and project support.  Having worked as the head of Enterprise Data Management at Cisco and Chief Data Officer at Ingram Micro, Majd had developed an innovative Data Management framework that integrated a holistic approach to all the capabilities within the Data Management domain.  This framework was fully adopted at Cisco with over 460 employees trained and certified there.  In 2008, the CIO of Cisco considered the Data Management division’s work as one of the top 3 accomplishments among over 1500 projects within the entire IT organization.  Within 24 months, over 17 data domains were certified, and data stewards were identified and trained.  At Ingram Micro (Fortune 67), as Chief Data Officer, Majd oversaw the Data Governance and Master Data Management for the largest SAP implementation in the Supply Chain industry at the time.

Since its inception, Xendat Data & Analytics has been fortunate to have worked with some of the best Data Management talent in the industry.  Our team has helped companies like Huawei (Shenzhen, China), Yodlee, University of California, Newmont Mining, Vertex Pharmaceuticals, and many others.

Xendat has also provided staffing support for some of these companies, helping address their most challenging data initiatives.  In addition to consulting and staffing services, Xendat also offers corporate training to data professionals across many industries and geographical settings.  Our Data Governance, Master Data Management, and Data Project Management Boot Camps have been attended by over 600 IT and business professionals from across 12 countries, and were held in the US, Malaysia, and Thailand. These Data Management Boot Camps are intensive 3-day training courses that cover all aspects of their respective subject areas.

Majd Izadian took a 4-year sabbatical from Xendat’s active duties to lead Enterprise Data Stewardship at Kaiser Permanente, and then establish a new Enterprise Data Management organization at UnitedHealth Group (Fortune 5). He returned to Xendat in 2021, as Chief Data Officer to help grow the organization to expand its focus to Healthcare and Pharmaceutical industries.

Xendat Data & Analytics is a company with a rich history, and we thrive to continue to be a leader in the Data Management space and partner with our clients to help them build world class data, analytics, and knowledge management organizations!
